Warranty
Official Manufacturers Warranty
For brands we are official stockists for, we offer a manufacturer's warranty typically for 1, 2, or 3 years. Please refer to your warranty booklet for detailed information on what your warranty covers. If the watch develops a fault within the warranty period, you should send it directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. Please note you will have to cover postage fees for the repair, for which we recommend using a tracked service. Please note 'warranty exclusions' below for defects not typically covered under manufacturer warranty.
WatchLyx Warranty
For brands we are third-party stockists for, we offer our own standard 2-year warranty unless otherwise stated on the timepiece. During this warranty period, if your watch develops a fault, you may return it to us for either repair, replacement, or a full refund. If the watch develops a fault within 30 days from your date of order, we will cover the postage costs. If the fault occurs after 30 days, it is the customer’s responsibility to cover the postage fees. We advise using a trackable service for returning all watches. Please note repairs generally take between 7-14 working days.
Watches that have defects with their movements, such as abnormally gaining time, losing time, or not keeping proper time, will be covered under our warranty program. Our warranty does not cover "external damage" to the product.
Warranty Coverage
For defective products under warranty purchased within 14 days, our standard policy is to replace or refund the product in full. Please note we will not replace or refund products that are subject to faults covered within our list of warranty exclusions. For products purchased outside of 14 days, we will repair the item, and where a repair is not possible, we will provide a replacement.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty does not cover any damage resulting from water/moisture damage. Additionally, the warranty does not cover any damage to the watch case, crystal/glass, watch bracelet/band, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage to the watch.
Further, our warranty does not cover the following:
- External wear-and-tear from normal daily use.
- External damage to the product, including wear to the watch case, crystal/glass, watch bracelet, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage.
- Defects caused by outside force, improper use, or ANY incidental damages occurring from dropping or banging the timepiece.
- Any lost/missing stones or gems on the outer portion of the watch or watch face, as this is considered a cosmetic issue and does not affect normal watch functionality.
- Any damage if used under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer’s water resistance guidelines.
- Watches labeled as water-resistant featuring a screw-down crown – The crown must be properly screwed down at all times to prevent water damage inside the stem. Water damage is not covered under warranty by WatchLyx or any manufacturer.
- Damage caused from strap adjustments, especially with Ceramic Watches. We advise using a professional watch specialist for strap adjustments, as any damage caused in the process is the customer’s responsibility.
