Reinforcing their relationship with the world of motor sport, TAG Heuer have unveiled this stunning TAG Heuer Formula 1 Indy 500 watch. This highly anticipated limited edition is the product of the partnership between the watch manufacturer and the Indianapolis 500 motor race in America, a partnership that has remained strong since 2004 with TAG Heuer remaining the official timekeeper of the series. This TAG Heuer Indy 500 Limited Edition is also home to one of the brand’s most accurate movements, a Swiss quartz calibre promising an almost perfect precision with a variation of only a few seconds per month.
With a 43mm black sand-blasted DLC stainless steel body and fixed black ceramic tachymeter bezel, this TAG Heuer Formula 1 Indy 500 Limited Edition watch provides an elegant aesthetic just like that of the race cars that inspired it. The striking black dial is beautifully detailed with rhodium plated indexes, Superluminova coated hour and minute hands, two chronograph sub dials and a date window at 4 o clock. The dial also features a unique brick motif to honour “The Brickyard”, the nickname for the Indy racetrack. The functions are powered by a Swiss made quartz movement which is kept hidden behind a closed case back engraved with a stunning Indy 500 decoration. To complete the look of this TAG Heuer Formula 1 Limited Edition watch, a sophisticated black rubber strap is added alongside a classic black DLC pin buckle.
